本稿では， 自動走行型車椅子への応用を想定した特定物体認識を用いた距離推定法を提案する．提案法では，入力画像の拡大により認識距離を拡張し，画像上の物体の大きさがカメラとの距離に反比例する関係を用いて，単眼カメラ画像から対象物を認識して距離を推定する．実験結果から，画像拡大により認識距離が向上し，正しく距離推定が行えることを確認した． |

In this paper, we propose a distance estimation method utilizing image recognition for an automatic traveling wheelchair. The proposed method includes image magnification to extend the recognition distance and image recognition to estimate the position by utilizing a relationship in which the size of an object in an image is inversely proportional to the distance between a camera and the object. Experimental results show that the proposed method improves the recognition distance and estimates the position accurately. |
