• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 様々な情報端末において，暗証番号やパスワードを用いた個人認証方式が多く利用されている． しかし，これらの認証方式は，覗き見によりパスワード情報が流出する危険性がある．覗き見に耐性を有する既存の方式として，文字の背景に色の配列を表示し，利用者が上下左右にスライドさせることで認証を行う方式が提案されている．著者らはその方式を改良することで安全性を向上させた背景パターンスライド認証方式を提案しているが，操作方法はさらに複雑になっており，利便性についての問題が残されている．本論文ではこれらの認証方式の利便性について検証実験を行った．その結果明らかになった問題点を改善する改良手法を提案し，利便性の向上を図る．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: A personal authentication system using PIN or password is widely used in various information terminals. However these authentication system has a weakness of password leakage by shoulder surfing. As an existing system against shoulder surfing, it is known that the authentication method in which users slide background color array displayed behind characters. Although the authors have proposed the improved version of the background pattern slide authentication in safeness, its operation procedure seems more complicated. In this report, we evaluate the convenience for these authentication methods. According to analysis of the result, we propose an improved method to enhance its convenience.
