 (誤差を大きく) しても結果の大勢に影響しないことが期待できる.本研究ではデータセンター,スーパーコンピュータにおいてこれらのアプリケーションを対象にして,ある程度の誤りを含む通信を許容することにより高バンド幅低遅延を達成する Approximate Computing ネットワークを提案,評価する.Approximate Computing ネットワークでは, (1) 多値変調により,光リンクのバンド幅を 10 倍向上させ,(2)Forward Error Correction (FEC) によるエラー検出訂正を行わないことで 1 ホップあたりの転送遅延を現状維持し,(3) アプリケーションの転送データ構造に基づくシンボルマッピングにより,ビットエラーが発生した場合の転送データの数値誤差を抑制する.さらに,数値誤差が許容されない従来のデータ転送についても,このシンボルマッピングを工夫することで,サポート可能である.Approximate Computing ネットワークを用いることで, CG, FT については各々 15, 39%の実行時間の向上と解の収束,K-means クラスタリングにおいては 44%の実行時間の向上と
