To comply with the ISO 26262: functional safety standard for automotive control system, we have to implement timing protection. But it needs high CPU load depending on the number of target monitored SW and their frequency. In this paper, we propose low CPU load timing protection method that it is based on the time-span in which a fault can be present in a system before a hazardous event occurs.
