機器そのものの高信頼化を図ると共に 運転・保守に携わる要員の教育・訓練が重要である一方 今日のCAIは多種メディア機器の発達 認知科学の発展 そして新しいプログラミング・パラダイムの出現を背景に 従来にない新しい教育・訓練環境を提供できるようになってきている.このような背景の下に 筆者らは電力設備に携わる保守員の教育支援を題材に メディアテクノロジー 知識工学 認知科学の成果を取り入れた保守教育支援システムADVISOR(ADvanced VideoInStructOR)を開発した.ADVISORでは インタフェース中心主義の立場から教育支援することを試みている.すなわち 学習対象の理解を支援するために各学習ステップの概念的意味や具体的内容 各学習ステップの全体に対する重要性 学習空間における現在位置等が逐次把握できる教育的インタフェースを ビデオディスクやピットマップ・ディスプレイを利用して実現している.また 他の対象に対しても学習空間が容易に構築できる 構築ツールを用意している.本論では まず ADVISORの設計思想について述べる.次に
