Especially, auction-based approaches are widely chosen due to its distributed nature and its relatively lower complexity. However, employing an auction to allocate jobs is only suitable for homogeneous environments of resources. This paper proposes an auction-based resource allocation mechanism which enables resource allocation in a heterogeneous environment while minimizing user's inputs.
