However, specific factors of the indifference to sciences are not clear. In order to contribute to the analysis, investigation on lifestyle and subjects studied in schools by students majoring in humanities and sciences is done. This paper describes experimental results to extract features of undergraduates majoring in humanities and sciences respectively to show factors that correlate with their course, i.e., humanities or sciences. In the research, data are collected through questionnaires to undergraduates. The questionnaire includes questions such as the lifestyle, subjects studied in schools. Then the data are analyzed by using data mining methods, namely decision trees, Principal Component Analysis, and Bayesian network.
