This enables to archive 2D animation with non-photorealistic geometry and smoothness such as 3D animation. Their vector image-based approach, however, is not considered to apply raster images, which hinders its use for the appearance of new accessory with texture mapping. It also could yield unintended geometry. Our contribution is to generate 2.5D animation without unintended geometry and allow to apply versatile raster images by combining traditional hand-drawn animation and image deformation.
