1 つの方法は，平均ホップ数，直径の小さいネットワークトポロジを採用することである．この点で，ノード間をランダムに接続したトポロジが優れていることが先行研究で報告されている．本研究では既存のランダムトポロジの生成アルゴリズムのさらなる改良を行う．本アルゴリズムは，従来の生成法で構成されたランダムトポロジに対して，(1) 直径が減少するように 2 本のリンク入れ替え操作のフェーズと平均最短パス長を減少させる 2 本のリンク入れ替え操作のフェーズの 2 段階で改良を行う，および (2) 平均最短パス長を減少させる 3 本のリンク入れ替え操作で改良を行う 2 つのバージョンを持つ．評価結果より，両アルゴリズムともに平均最短パス長を減少させる 2
