education of elementary computer programming,we find that some of the students can not understand enough because of their insufficient understanding of control structures in programs.We consider that imagining of the run-time behavior has influence deeply on the understanding of control structures.In this study we examined the relation between imagining and comprehension of control structures.As the result,we found the relation between correctness of imagining and ability to understand the control structures in program.In addition,we got a conclusion that the image test detects one's potential capacity for
