 note = {本論文では，国際会議におけるモバイルコンピューティング実験の報告を行い，その役割と効果について分析する．約100台の携帯電話付き携帯端末を用いて，実際の国際会議の参加者に通信／情報サービスを提供し，その際得られたログデータを解析した．ログデータのみでは十分知ることのできないユーザの使用感などは，事後アンケートにより調査した．以下の使用状況が観察されている．（a）ユーザは会議場ばかりではなく，会議後ホテルの部屋へ戻ってからも携帯端末を利用した．携帯端末は通常のデスクトップ型端末と比べて頻繁に使われ，かつ1回の使用時間は短かった．（b）情報サービスは，会議の進行を反映して利用にピークが現れるが，電子メールサービスは会議の進行にかかわらず定常的に利用された．, This paper aims to applying mobile computing to social events for communities.We provided around 100 personal digital assistants(PDAs) with wireless phones and various communication/information services to the attendees of an actual international conference.After the confertnce,we analyzed a large amount of log data togather with post-questionnaire data,and obtained the following results.(a)People continuously use PDAs not only at the conference site but also in their hotel rooms after dinner.(b)E-mail services are utilized independently of the event structure,while the load of information services peaks reflection the progress of the event.},
