• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: アイロニーはその暗黙性ゆえにその解釈機構はほとんど解明されていない複雑な非字義的表現である．そこで本稿では，アイロニーの解釈機構の認知モデルおよびその計算モデルを提案する．提案する認知モデルは，聞き手の状況把握の差による同一発話の解釈過程の違いとしてアイロニー解釈の多様性を説明できるとともに，アイロニー解釈に関する経験的知見と整合性がある．さらに，この認知モデルを関連性に基づく言語解釈の計算モデルと統合することにより，計算モデルによるアイロニー解釈は字義的な解釈や比喩解釈と同様に一般的な言語解釈過程において実現される．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: Verbal irony is a complicated nonliteral use of language whose interpretation mechanismhas hardly been explained because of its implicit nature.This paper proposes a cognitive and computational model of the mechanism ofirony interpretation.The cognitive model explains the diversity of ironic interpretation by showing thatdifferent cognitive environments of the hearer cause different processes through which an utterance is interpreted ironically or literally,and it is consistent with a variety of empirical findings on irony.Furthermore, the cognitive model is reasonably integrated with the relevance-based computational model of language interpretation.As a result, the computational model can interpret ironic utterances in the same way as literal or metaphorical utterances.
