programs that automaticallyrun when they are downloaded from WWW server, has benefits for maintaining and upgrading the computer system, because it doesn't need to be installed in the user's computers. Although both distributed object systems and mobile codes have their own strong security functions. (ex. user authentication/authorization, communication protection, sandbox security, signed object and so on.)When those mobile codes are used in the distributed object system, new security problems arise.These security problems cannot be prevented by using security functions of distributed computing systems and mobile codes independently.
