We build an integrated resourcereservation architecture named iReserve, and have developed amore comprehensive and powerful environment for continuous mediaprocessing middleware. This article describes the design andimplementation of our integrated reservation mechanisms, whichconsists of in-kernel low-layer resource reservation, resourcecoordination server and library with a QOS profiling handler andcommunication port for dynamic QOS control.
