 note = {本稿において，無線LAN環境におけるプレゼンテーション支援システムで利用するマルチキャストプロトコルについて述べる．プレゼンテーションはスライドやOHP，プロジェクタなどを用いて対面状態で行われる会議である．そこで，1つのグループの参加者に対して同報通信が可能であるマルチキャスト通信はプレゼンテーション支援に有効かつ，適切であると考えられる．しかし，マルチキャストでは一般にトランスポート層としてUDPを用いるため，信頼性を必要とするデータなどを送信する際には，マルチキャスト通信を利用することは適さない．そこで，信頼性を保証する機能が必要である．一方，実際の会議においては，途中参加が考えられ，途中参加者は発表されているページの資料を速やかに受信する必要がある．これらの問題を解決するために資料をページ単位で繰り返し送信することにより信頼性を保証する信頼性マルチキャストプロトコルMPFP（Multicast Protocol For Presentation）を提案し，その上で動作するプレゼンテーション支援システムのプロトタイプシステムの設計，実装を行った．また，評価を行った．, In this paper we describe a multicast protocol for supporting presentation system in wireless LAN environment.A presentation is a kind of meeting where a presenter gives a lectureusing slides, OHP transparencies or a projector.In this presentation,the presenter and participants can look at each other in a same room.Since multicast communication protocol can distribute data tomultiple participants in a group at the same time, it is effective andsuitable for a presentation support system.However, IP multicast usesUDP (User Datagram Protocol) as the transport layer protocol.Thus, the applications that handle the data which needs reliability for thecommunication, can't use multicast communication.Therefore, it is necessary to add the mechanism that can guarantee a reliabletransmission.In the actual meeting, on the other hand, someparticipants may be late for the meeting and some may leave before it is out.Therefore, a person who arrives late needs to receive datawhich was presented before promptly.In order to solve these issues, weproposed MPFP (Multicast Protocol For Presentation) which transmitseach page repeatedly so as to be able to guarantee the reliability ofdata distribution, and implemented a prototype of presentation support system.Furthermore, we carried out some experiments to evaluate MPFP.},
