• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 参加者全員が1人1台のPCを用い，2地点を結んだ遠隔ゼミナールを支援する，分散型遠隔ゼミナール支援システムRemoteWadaman IIを開発した．RemoteWadaman IIは，容量の大きいデータのやりとりや接続先のIPアドレス等の非同期の情報にはファイルサーバを用い，応答速度が重要な共有カーソルや共有画面の同期等にはメッシュ型のネットワークによる直接通信を用いる等，その分散化の方式に特徴がある．この特徴を生かして，ゼミナール中にもファイルを送信/取得可能な機能を設け，ゼミナールの効率化をはかった．このシステムを和歌山大学と鹿児島大学とを結んだゼミナールに2年間，計55回適用し，遠隔ゼミナールのログ解析とアンケート調査によりシステムを評価した．その結果，各参加者は各自のPCを用いることにより，発表中のカードや共有カーソルの指示を目前のPCで見られ，また，チャットの使用が可能となったのはもとより，さらに，ゼミナール開始後のレポートファイル送受信を可能としたことで，レポートの枚数が増加し，ゼミナールの質および量がともに向上した．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: We have developed a real-time distributed remote seminar support system,named RemoteWadaman II.The system can connect several computers via the Internet.Each student can operate his or her own computer.This system uses the following two communication methods.The first method is for large amount data and asynchronous information using a file server.The second method is for shared cursors and a shared screen using a direct communication by the mesh-type network.We developed functions to send and receive a file all over a seminar for the increase in efficiency of a seminar.RemoteWadaman II was applied seminars between two Universities 55 times and estimated by log analysis and questionnaires.Each participant was seen a shared report and shared cursors on his or her own PC,and each participant was able to use a chat.The number of sheets of a report increased by the functions to send and receive a file after a seminar start.As the result,this system has improved both the quality and quantity of a seminar.
