Bluetooth specifies many packet types that differ in the use of Forward Error Correction (FEC) and the number of time slots occupied by a packet. The performance of Bluetooth communications depends on the selected packet type, which should be suitable for the channel quality provided. In the experiment, we consider a situation where a server transfers stored video and audio streams to a terminal on a point-to-point channel with white noise, which simulates interference from DSSS (Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum) systems.
