• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 無線LANとPDAを用いた柔軟な授業支援システムSEGODON-PDAを開発した．従来の固定型の授業支援システムは，計算機室などの計算機を設置した教室のみでしか実施できず，管理に手間がかかるという問題があった．PDAは比較的安価であり，携帯性に優れるため，柔軟なシステムの運用が可能である．SEGODON-PDAは，内容の異なる2つの授業に対する支援を行う．講義形式の授業では，学生が授業中に演習問題を授業用のウェブサイトからPDA上にダウンロードし，そこで解答する．学生は，PDAを持ち，画面上の解答を見ながら板書する．また，宿題をPDA上にダウンロードし，次回の授業までに教室外で解答を行う．発想法を学ぶ実習形式の授業では，PDAを用いたアイディア収集や発想法の結果を無線LANとPDAを利用して口頭発表を行う．開発したSEGODON-PDAを大学3年生の2種類の授業へ適用した結果，以下のことが分かった．(1)無線LANとPDAを用いたSEGODON-PDAは，講師と学生との対話性のある支援が行え学生から高く評価された．(2)様々な授業内容に対する支援が可能であり，教室外での宿題や予習などにも利用可能であった．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: We have developed a flexible lecture support system using PDAs and wireless LAN, named SEGODON-PDA. A conventional fixed lecture support system has been carried out only in the classroom such as a computer room. The problem is the trouble of management. PDAs are comparatively cheap and their portability is good. A flexible system can be built using PDAs. The system can support two types of lectures. We applied SEGODON-PDA to a lecture-type class. Students could download the contents for the lecture using a wireless LAN in class and could write something on a blackboard while carrying and seeing a PDA. They could do their homework outside of the classroom. We applied SEGODON-PDA to an exercise-type class. Students could collect ideas for the exercise of an idea generation method. They make a presentation about results of the exercise using their PDA with a wireless LAN. We have applied the system for third year students. The results of the applications are shown below. (1) The results of the application show that SEGODON-PDA is effective and highly evaluated. The class became interactive between the lecturer and students. (2) The system could support several types of lectures. The system could also support the homework or the preparation outside of the classroom.
