The high-low intonation of Japanese lyrics thus is correlated with the pitch sequence of the melody line. The aim of this study is to investigate their relationships. The study first classified the accent types of phrases in the lyrics of common Japanese nursery rhymes and school tunes, and then examined the relationship between the accent type and the songs' melody. A preliminary result suggests that accent types are highly congruent with the melody contour within the songs of this genre.}, title = {日本語の音韻と旋律の関係について~童謡・唱歌を中心に~}, year = {2014} }
