However, they can not make conversation with classmate and uneasiness is increasing. We developed a system in order to make child inpatients feel as if they are in their original school. The system consists of a terminal system in a hospital, a terminal system in a school, and a communication system. The hospital-side terminal is assigned in a classroom in the hospital or a patient room, and the corresponding school-side terminal is to be put in the patients' original school. Both terminals can communicate through the Internet. This system not only sends video/voice to each other, but can operate the zoom function of a camera, and change the direction of a display and a camera by the child inpatient with remote control. Also, school-side terminal has a lamp which can be lit by the child inpatient.
