• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 中長期にわたり入院する小児患者（患児）は院内学級と呼ばれる特殊な環境で学習する．しかし院内学級は複式学級となることが多く，患児は本来通うべき学校の友人との会話もできず，不安感や焦燥感が増す患児も多い．そこで我々は，患児があたかも出身学校の教室にいるような環境を作り，授業や学校行事に参加可能にするシステムを開発した．本システムは学校側ロボット，病院側ロボット，両者を結ぶ通信システムから構成される．患児1人につき1システムを使用し，病院側ロボットを院内学級もしくは病室，対応する学校側ロボットは教室などに設置しインターネットを通して接続する．本システムは動画像と音声を相手方に送るだけでなく，病院にいる患児が学校側の機器を遠隔操作してカメラとディスプレイの向き，カメラのズーム機能を制御できる．また学校側機器は挙手に代わる意思表示ランプを備え，患児が病院側から容易に点滅させることができる．本システムにより，患児は出身学校の授業および行事に参加しているかのような臨場感を味わい，友人と会話も可能である．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: Child patients that are in hospital for a long time, study at the classroom in the hospital. However, they can not make conversation with classmate and uneasiness is increasing. We developed a system in order to make child inpatients feel as if they are in their original school. The system consists of a terminal system in a hospital, a terminal system in a school, and a communication system. The hospital-side terminal is assigned in a classroom in the hospital or a patient room, and the corresponding school-side terminal is to be put in the patients' original school. Both terminals can communicate through the Internet. This system not only sends video/voice to each other, but can operate the zoom function of a camera, and change the direction of a display and a camera by the child inpatient with remote control. Also, school-side terminal has a lamp which can be lit by the child inpatient. With this system, child inpatients can feel as if they are participating to the lesson or events in their original school.Also, free conversation with classmate is possible.
