• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 「遷画～シルクロード」は、大量の画像をデータベースから収集して並べ替え、その結果をスライドショーという形式で公開できる参加型アーカイブである。画像の収集と並べ替えは利用者自身の興味や関心に従い、その結果として作成される「ツアー」はデジタルアーカイブを閲覧するための一つの導線として他者と共有することができる。このような利用者作成ツアーの集積を通して、文化の変遷や多様性を示すアーカイブとして成長させていくことが本研究の目的である。本論文は「遷画」の基本的概念とインタフェースを紹介し、利用者作成ツアーやアンケートの分析から「遷画」の有効性を評価する。そして「遷画」のような単純なシステムから、画像の持つ多様な意味が見えてくることを示す。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: "Senga - Silk Road" is a participatory archive that enables users to publish slideshows created by collecting and rearranging a number of images from the database. The collection and rearrangement of images is based on users' own interests, and "to users" generated by the users' activities, and later shared with other users, serve as navigational paths for browsing the digital archive. The goal of this research is to accumulate user generated tours and make evolve the digital archive to show the trend and variety of culture. This paper introduces the basic concept, and the interface of "Senga," and evaluates the effectiveness of "Senga" by analyzing user created tours and questionnaires. This paper also demonstrates that a simple system as "Senga" can reveal the various senses of images.
