地理的な広がりから中央リポジトリへ： 算額アーカイブプロジェクト From Geographic Spread to Central Repository: The Sangaku Archive Project カライスル, アントニア Antonia, Karaisl Sangaku, Wasan, IIIF, Creative Commons, Digital Archive 算額とは、全国の寺社に奉納された数学の問題を記した絵馬のことである。現在、現存する算額は900を超え、そのほとんどが元の場所に残されている。さらに1700の算額の 問題が書籍や写本に記録されている。算額アーカイブプロジェクトは、社会現象としての算額を体系的に検証し、現代の聴衆に新しい形で広めることを可能にするために、この文化遺産の中心的なアーカイブを作る試みである。 Japan during the Edo period saw the rise of a historic precedent to social media in the analogue: sangaku (算額), votive tablets with mathematical problems that were dedicated in temples and shrines throughout the country. Today, over 900 extant sangaku survive, mostly in their original location; an additional 1700 sangaku problems are documented in books and manuscripts.
