シェアリングエコノミーの概念について On the Concept of the Sharing Economy 大谷, 卓史 Takushi, Otani SITEセッション 本発表は，シェアリングエコノミーの概念について検討し整理する．シェアリングエコノミーと呼ばれる経済現象と似た活動はインターネット普及以前から存在したものの，プラットフォームの仲介による需要と供給のマッチングと取引コストの劇的な低減によって，地球規模で見知らぬ他人同士の取引でオンデマンドで財や資産を一時的に占有・利用したり，やはり見知らぬ多数の他人同士でコスト負担を行うことができるようになった．後者の経済活動を狭義のシェアリングエコノミーと呼び，インターネット普及以前の経済現象と併せて広義のシェアリングエコノミーと呼ぶ． This presentation explores and analyzes the concept of the sharing economy. Although similar economic phenomena to the economic activity we now call the sharing economy existed before the spread of the internet, they were different in very important ways. The sharing economy allows strangers to meet and transact with each other across the globe to temporarily occupy and use the same goods or assets on demand or to join in large numbers to share considerable costs. This occurs through the intermediation of digital platforms, which can match millions of demands with appropriate suppliers and dramatically reduce the transaction costs for collaboration or trade among strangers.
