<dc:description>Currently, web application systems have become established in societies, where web-client programming using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript play essential roles to introduce logics and dynamics for interactive interfaces on web browsers. Previously, we have presented the element fill-in-blank problem (EFP) for self-study of introductory grammar topics in web-client programming. In an EFP instance, tag, defined function, or library function will be blanked in the given source code, which are requested to be filled in by referring to the given web page screenshots. The correctness of any answer is marked through string matching. In this paper, we study EFP for applicative grammar topics in web-client programming, such as button, checkbox, video, table, and camera. By solving EFP in both topics, it is expected that students can make applicable web pages. For evaluations, we generated 25 instances and assigned them to 17 master students in Okayama University. Their solution results confirm the validity of the proposal.</dc:description>
