垂直分散データベースにおける間合せ最適化処理の実現方法 ON QUERY OPTIMIZATION IMPLEMENTATION FOR VERTICALLY DISTRIBUTED DATABASES 高野, 智 鶴岡, 邦敏 Satoshi, Takano Kunitoshi, Tsuruoka ローカルデータベースのデータ間に，階層的な従属関係が成り立つ分散データベースを「垂直分散データベース」と定義し，研究開発を行っている．本稿では，現在開発中の垂直分散データベース管理システムで採用する管理方法と問合せの最適化方法について論じる．管理方法では，主にデータベース間に存在する重複データの管理について説明する．間合せ最適化では，準結合(mijo)処理の他に，間合せ発生サイトに存在する重複データを利用した転送データ量の削減方法について説明する． We define "vertically distributed databases" as the distributed databases with dependence relationship between local databases. In this paper, the data management and the query optimization for vertically distributed databases are discussed. The management of replicated data distributed in several local databases is mainly discussed in the data management. In the query optimization, we use the replicated data in the local database in addition to the semijoin method in order to reduce the data transmission cost.
