          <datacite:description descriptionType="Other">近年，世界的な養殖漁業の漁獲量増加に伴って魚粉価格が高騰しており，魚粉の代替飼料としてミルワームが注目されている．我々は，養殖漁業向け飼料の安定的供給を実現するため IoT を活用したミルワーム自動育成システム Worm Pod の研究開発を行っている．本論文では，Worm Pod のシステムによってミルワームの成長曲線を推定する仕組みの開発および評価について報告する．Worm Pod では，まずミルワームの飼育容器の上部に取り付けたカメラによって定期的に撮影を行い，物体検出モデル YOLOv8 によってミルワームの幼虫，蛹，成虫の位置と領域を検出する．次に，ミルワーム幼虫を検出した領域から体長を推定する．飼育容器内のミルワーム幼虫集団の体長の代表値を決定後，その時系列データに基づいてミルワームの成長曲線を推定する．</datacite:description>
          <datacite:description descriptionType="Other">In recent years, the price of fishmeal has risen sharply due to an increase in the catch volume of aquaculture worldwide, and mealworms have attracted attention as an alternative feed to fishmeal. We are conducting research and development of an automatic mealworm rearing system called Worm Pod that utilizes IoT to ensure a stable supply of feed for aquaculture. In this paper, we report on the development and evaluation of a mechanism to estimate the growth curve of mealworms using the Worm Pod system. In the Worm Pod, a camera attached to the top of the mealworm breeding container takes regular photographs and detects the positions and areas of mealworm larvae, pupae, and adults using the object detection model YOLOv8. The body length of mealworm larvae is estimated from the area where they are detected. After determining a representative value for the body length of the mealworm larvae group in the breeding container, the mealworm growth curve is estimated based on the time series data.</datacite:description>
