          <datacite:description descriptionType="Other">組込みコンピュータは厳しい制約下でアプリケーションを実行する必要がある．画像処理や制御のアプリケーションは自然対数の演算が使用される．本研究は，自然対数の演算をするカスタム命令を提案し，自然対数演算の実行性能の向上を目的とする．設計支援環境を用いて RISCV-tools と Rocket Chip にカスタム命令を追加した．設計とシミュレーションの結果から，設計効率が 6％ 向上し，1 演算あたりのエネルギー消費が 96％ 削減し，実行性能が 27 倍向上したことを確認した．</datacite:description>
          <datacite:description descriptionType="Other">Embedded computers must process applications under tight constraints. Image processing and control applications use natural logarithm operations. This study proposes custom instructions to perform natural logarithm operations and aims to improve the performance of natural logarithm operations. The custom instructions were added to RISCV-Tools and Rocket Chip using the design support environment. Design and simulation results show a 6% improvement in design efficiency, a 96% reduction in energy consumption per operation, and an 27-fold improvement in execution performance.</datacite:description>
