On the other hand, in the academic world, differential privacy has attracted attention, and many anonymization methods that satisfy differential privacy have been proposed. However, the relationship between differential privacy and re-identification is not necessarily clear, and it is unclear whether satisfying differential privacy means difficulty in re-identification. Therefore, in this paper, we evaluate the relationship between differential privacy and re-identification, and show that satisfying differential privacy is a (almost) sufficient condition for re-identification difficulty.
