          <datacite:description descriptionType="Other">NHK では地上放送高度化に向け，放送と通信のシームレスな映像コンテンツの遷移や多様な端末での視聴を可能とする放送通信融合技術の研究を進めており，その受信技術として放送を通信に変換するゲートウェイの基本設計を検討している．このゲートウェイでは，受信システム内の復調部とその他の機能要素との疎結合化や多様な端末へのコンテンツ提供するために放送信号を相互運用性の高い配信方式へ変換することなどを基本的な役割として整理している．本稿では，ゲートウェイの基本的な役割，設計方針，基本モデル設計，および試作状況について報告する．</datacite:description>
          <datacite:description descriptionType="Other">For the evolution of terrestrial broadcasting services, NHK is advancing research on the integrated content distribution architecture using broadcasting and broadband communication. And then, as its receiver side technology, NHK is studying the basic design of the gateway that converts broadcasting to communication. This enables viewing on various terminals, as well as seamless transition of broadcasting and communication content. We organize that the basic role of this gateway is to loosely couple the demodulator in the receiving system with other functional elements, and to convert broadcast signals into a highly interoperable distribution method in order to provide content to various terminals. This paper reports on the basic role of the gateway, design policy, basic model design, and prototype status.</datacite:description>
