          <datacite:description descriptionType="Other">本稿は， 「高品質｣， 「低負荷｣， 「省電力」 なフィールド監視システムを紹介する．本システムは，フィールドの状態を多種多様なセンサ，高精細な監視カメラから定義し，監視フィールドの状態に合わせた適応レート制御を適用している．このイベントドリブン型レート制御により，監視カメラにおいて，監視品質を維持したまま，主に冗長な映像トラフイックを削減する．また，センサ端末において，センサ送信頻度抑制によるセンサの消費電力量の削減を図る．</datacite:description>
          <datacite:description descriptionType="Other">This paper introduces a "high-quality", "network-friendly", and "energy-efficient" field monitoring system. This system firstly detects the monitoring field conditions by using multi-modal sensors and high-resolution surveillance cameras. From the detection result, the system adaptively controls a sensor's transmission frequency and an encoding rate of surveillance camera. This rate adaptation can efficiently reduce redundant video traffic and sensor's energy consumption.</datacite:description>
