協創による「これまでに無いゲームづくり」を目指して―関西オープンデータxゲームハッカソン学生チャレンジ2015の実践報告― Toward a Novel Game Development by Co-creation -Report on "Student Game Hackathon with Open Data 2015 in Kansai" 白水, 菜々重 松下, 光範 Nanae, Shirozu Mitsunori, Matsushita ゲームを開発する環境の整備が進み，学生やアマチュアであっても高度なセンサや華麗なCG を駆使したゲームが制作できるほどに敷居が下がりつつある．最近では，開発環境のみならず．ゲーミフィケーションのようなゲームが持つメカニズムにも焦点が当てられ，ゲーム以外の分野で応用することで，製品やサービスにこれまでにない価値やアイデアを付与したり，ユーザの行動変容や動機付けを促したりするといった試みも増えている．このような視座の下，2015 年3 月に関西圏の大学に在籍する学生を対象としたゲームハッカソンを企画した．このハッカソンは，近年，急速に利用が拡大しているオープンデータとゲームを結びつけることで，これまでに無い発想のオープンデータの利用方法が提案されることを狙うものである．本稿では，その概要と成果について報告する． Development of rich software environments and commoditization of various sensors enable a user to create a game easily, even if he/she is just an amateur creator such as students, not a professional game creator. As seen above, the environment for a game development becomes substantial, however, a methodology to create a brand-new game with novel concept is still developing. In recent years, not only game development tools but also new game mechanisms including a Gamification become to attract attention. Based on such circumstances, we conducted an event titled “Student Game Hackathon with Open Data 2015,” which intends to cheer up students who belongs to a university in the Kansai area. This hackathon aimed to explore a delightful use case of open data, by employing the open data as the feature of a game.
