          <datacite:description descriptionType="Other">Wavelet 変換による多重解像度解析と自己組織化マップを木構造型に組み合わせ，画像特徴を多重解像・階層的に学習・認識するシステムを提案してきた．また，本研究室では 400 万ゲート規模の FPGA を搭載したボードを 3 次元的に複数接続して構成した HPC システム Virtual Object by Configurable Array of Little Scalable Engine (Vocalise) を研究開発している．そこで本報告では，それらを組み合わせ Vocalise 上に本認識システムを構築する手法について示す．また提案手法による実装結果から，数値演算分野に止まらない多分野での本 HPC システムの有用性を示す．</datacite:description>
          <datacite:description descriptionType="Other">We propose and develop "an image recognition system" with multi-resolutional feature learning function. The feature learning function is combined Self-Organizing Map (SOM) with multi-resolution analysis. We also develop a HPC system constituted by connecting FPGA cards in the shape of a three-dimensional array. We call the HPC system "Vocalise" (Virtual Object by Configurable Array of Little Scalable Engine). In this paper, we describe how to implement the image recognition system in Vocalise. In addition, we show an effectiveness of using Vocalise from the implementation result.</datacite:description>
