          <datacite:description descriptionType="Other">薬剤耐性黄色ブドウ球菌に対する有効な抗菌薬の枯渇により多くの患者が世界中で亡くなっている。本研究ではstructure-based drug screening手法を用いてジヒドロ葉酸還元酵素を標的として抗菌作用を有する新規化合物の同定を試みた。その結果、黄色ブドウ球菌のモデル細菌に対して抗菌効果を有する4種類の新規化合物を同定した。またそれら化合物は腸内モデル細菌や培養哺乳類細胞に対し有意な毒性を持っていないことも確かめる事が出来た。</datacite:description>
          <datacite:description descriptionType="Other">The lack of effective antibiotics against drug-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) is resulting in deaths of many patients all over the world. In this study, we attempted to identify novel antibiotics targeting dihydrofolate reductase by structure-based drug screening method. We identified novel 4 chemical compounds with antibacterial effects on the model bacterial strains of S. aureus. We also confirmed that the compounds do not have any toxic effects on enterobacteria and cultured mammalian cells.</datacite:description>
