構造検索機能と継承演算子を持つオブジェクトベース代数 An Objectbase Algebra with Structural Retrieval Functionality and Inheritance Operators 吉川, 正俊 Masatoshi, Yoshikawa Obaseモデルのための質問代数であるObase代数について論じる。Obaseモデルは、スキーマとインスタンスの区別をしない、各オブジェクトが組と集合の両方の構造を持つ、集合とその要素の間の関連にも属性を付加できる、などの特徴を持つ。Obase代数は、組、集合構造の航行演算子やオブジェクト間の継承を明示的に指定するためのいくつかの継承演算子を持ち、それらの正規表現も許す。また表現能力の点では関係代数を包摂する。 We will present the Obase algebra, which serve as a query algebra for the Obase data model. The major characteristics of the Obase data model include that: there is no distinction between schemas and instances; every object has both a tuple and a set structures; and attributes can be attached to the relationships between a set and its members. The Obase algebra has navigation operations for complex objects with tuple and set constructors. In heritance operators are provided in the algebra to allow users explicitly specify inheritance between objects. Also, regular expressions of these operators are supported.
