• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 近年のVR技術の進歩に伴い、将来の世代のために、文化遺産をデジタル保存しようとする機運が高まっている。この保存過程においては、「文化遺産の構築時に使用する色やパターンを、経年変化を考慮しつつ、いかに忠実に再現するか」が一つの重要な課題となる。この課題を背景に、岐阜県とドイツ・ハイテクリサーチセンター(WISTA)との間で「滅失建築文化遺産のVR復元と色情報制御方式」をテーマとした共同研究を行った。本稿では、滅失した文化遺産のVR仮想再建築プロセスと、より忠実な再建築のための色情報制御手法、およびその成果について報告する。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: In recent years, with the development of virtual reality (VR) technology, there has been an increasing trend to digitally preserve cultural heritage sites for future generations. However, one problem that exists in this endeavor is how to faithfully reproduce the colors and patterns used in the site's construction, since these may have deteriorated over time. With that, Gifu Prefecture and the Berlin-Adlershof Science and Technology Center (WISTA) began a collaborative research project into "A Color Management Approach for the Virtual Restoration of Lost Cultural Heritage Sites." In this paper, we will present the process of virtually restoring lost structures, the color management methods used to create more faithful reproductions, and their results.
