• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 我国に伝来する記録史料、中でも近世・近代のそれは、世界的にも類をみない程厖大な量が伝来している。これらの記録史料は、戦後の史料保存運動の成果として各地に設立された文書館・史料館といった史料保存利用機関をはじめ、図書館、博物館、自治体史編纂室、大学研究室などでも記録史料の所在調査やその目録化が現在も進行中である。史料館では我国の主として近世・近代の記録史料について、上記目録を基礎に史料群単位の所在とその概要情報を全国的な規模で集約し、多様な検索システムをインターネット上で公開する準備を進めてきた。しかしながら、全国的な規模での公開は我国では初めての試みであることと、さらにインターネヅト上での公開によって想起される様々な問題点が指摘された。本報告は、歴史研究と史料の保存利用にとって必要不可欠な基礎データとしての記録史料所在情報の公開問題とその課題を提起しようとするものである。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: Archival records kept in Japan, especially those from the early-modern and the modern ages, are said to be enormous without parallel in the world. These archives have been being surveyed and catalogued by archival institutions which were set up as a result of archive-keeping movement after the War as well as by libraries, museums, historical sections of local autonomies, and universities. The Shiryokan has been compiling the locative information of such archival material based on the catalogues collected from all over the country and preparing to disclose it through Internet with multilateral retrieval system. However, it has been pointed out that there remain not a few problems in disclosing such information through Internet mainly because it is the first attempt in this country. The present report focuses on the problems and perspectives of disclosing the locative information of archives, which must be indispensable and basic data for historical science and other purposes using archival material.
