• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: コンピュータ・ビジョン分野において､検出対象とその周辺に存在する事物との位置関係を Context として利用する物体検出技術が注目されている。従来の物体検出で利用される Context は、画像上でのみ成立する見かけの関係、即ち平面的な位置関係として表現されるため、学習画像と異なる撮影方向の画像に対し、物体検出性能をかえって低下させてしまう場合がある。本稿では、画像の空間構造を Geometric Structure 推定技術を利用して取得し、実空間における位置関係を Context とすることで、撮影方向の異なる画像に適用可能な、Context に基づく物体検出手法を提案する。実験の結果、提案手法では、学習データと撮影方向の異なる画像についても、安定した物体検出が可能であった。

However since the existing systems use relations only exist in training sample, they often degrade the performance for image that, from appearance alone, have unlearned relations. This paper presents a new approach towards improving the accuracy of multi-view object detection based on the geometric structures shown in images.
