• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: バトントワリングとは、バトンを操りその技術や芸術性を競う競技である。大会では「作品の構成」が審査の重要な要素となり、特に複数人で演技を行う団体戦では隊形移動などの「空間デザイン」が鍵となる。しかし、作品の構成を考える際、複数人数の隊形移動や空中でのバトンの動きなどを、頭の中で想像するのは難易度の高い作業であり、実際の動きとの差が生じることがある。本研究では人間やバトンの動きをコンピュータ画面上でシミュレーションすることで演技者の動きを具体化させ、より芸術性の高い作品の構成を考える支援を行うシステムを提案する。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: Baton twirling is a sports competing for tecniques and artistry. At the competition, “composition of a program” is one of the important factors for evaluation. Especially, in case of team competition, “space design” such as the formation movement is important. As a matter of fact, even a trained choreographer may experience difference between their planned movements in minds and the real feasible movements. In this study, a system to simulate movements of the dancers and batons in computer screen, is proposed. This system helps the choreographer to work more on artistic factors.
