• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 携帯電話、ゲーム機、カーナビ、などインターネットへの情報家電のアクセスは高度化しつつある。また、第３世代携帯電話、デジタル放送、ブロードバンド、無線LANなどにより、家庭や地域のネットは劇的に高度化しようとしている。「いつでもどこでも」ネットにアクセスでき、ネットワークが環境を理解して動作する「ユビキタスネットワーク環境」においては多様な情報家電のネット化が必須である。情報家電向けネットワークソフトのアーキテクチャを中心に、情報家電のネットワーク技術について解説し、それらが実現するユビキタス社会の要求条件、セキュリティ、ビジネスモデルの展開について述べる。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: The information appliances increase their Internet access capabilities in mobile handsets, game consoles, and automotive systems. The home and area network environment is under drastic upgrade with IMT-2000, digital broadcast, broadband networks, wireless LAN and other emerging technologies. Anytime anywhere computing environments with ubiquitous network capabilities and environment-aware capabilities needs networked infromation appliances. The author discusses network software architecture for information appliances and network technologies in information appliances. In addition, the requirements for ubiquitous network societies, security issues, and business model development issues are presented.
