• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 早稲田大学理工学部では、1995年に「インターメディア作曲コース」を開講し、その後1997年から理工学部複合領域・菅野研究室として音楽サイドからの創作、教育、研究活動を開始した。現在はコンピュータ音楽の創作を軸に、C言語、MAX等の既存のプログラミング言語による音楽制作と、MAX及びMSPを用いた教育システム作りを行っている。また、研究としては、「音楽の心理的影響」、「楽音的要素による1騒音」の2つを大きな柱とし、「環境音楽」「自然界のデータによる音楽」「耳を休めるための音楽」「音のサブリミナル効果」のテーマによって進めている。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: Waseda University's School of Science and Engineering has started the "Intermedia Composition Course" in 1995. Since 1997 the the course has been established as the Kanno Laboratory in the Multidisciplinary Studies Division--with creative, educational, and research activities as the course's main subjects. The creative work is mainly composing computer music using such programs as C Language and MAX. Also, MAX and MSP are used to develop educational systems. The research work includes the following themes: emotional influence by music, musical elements as noise, environmental music, music based on datas taken from the nature, music to rest the ears, and subliminal effect of the musical sound.
