• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 美術館が所蔵する作品を電子的な手法を用いて紹介する試みは、すでにいくつかの美術館や博物館でも実現されているが、画像情報と文字情報を本格的に構築し、来館者の様々な情報ニーズに応えるデータベースとして一般に公開された事例は、岐阜県美術館が国内では最初の例である。さらに情報システムにハイビジョンを利用した点では、世界初の試みでもある。本稿では、岐阜県美術館データベースのの概要について報告する。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: Although several art galleries and museums have already implemented electronic systems to present their are, the art data base of the Gifu Museum of Fine Arts is the first in Japan open to the general public and designed to meet the various information needs of visitors. Moreover, it is the first gallery data base in the world to use Hi-Vision (Japanese High Definition TV) image recordings. This report outlines the data base at the Gifu Museum of Fine Arts.
