• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 今、新設、既設を問わず、博物館活動のさまざまな場面で、研究用のシステムや資料検索あるいは、展示物と一体になって等々、コンピュータを初めとした各種のメディアが導入されている。本来、"本物"を中心として活動が行われている博物館に、調査・研究した成果が、形のない"情報"という姿で博物館利用者の前に提示するメディアの導入について、どの様な視点で捉えたら良いのであろうか。本論は、この様な観点から博物館活動、特に展示を中心とした教育普及活動において、メディアを活用する場合の一視点を示し、今後の問題点を探るものである。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: Today various kinds of new media and computers are usen in many museums, whatever they are new or old, as a tool for research and information retrieval or as acompornent of exhibition object. In such cases, what kind of philosophy must be taken into consideration to present "information" by using new media instead is playing "real materials" ? This paper presents one view from this point concerning introduction of information media into museums of other cultural institutions.
