• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 国立歴史民俗博物館（歴博）は，1981年に設置され，1983年に開館した，わが国最初の国立の歴史博物館である．1994年12月に館内LANがSINETを通してインターネットに接続された．本稿では，歴博におけるインターネット導入の経過および利用状況を報告する．とくにWWWによる情報サービスの試行について詳しく述べる．最後に，博物館におけるインターネットの利用方法について考察する．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: The National Museum of Japanese History (REKIHAKU) is the first national historical museum in Japan since 1981. In December 1995, we connected to the Internet through the SINET (Science Information NETwork). We report on the introduction and the use of the Internet in REKIHAKU. Our trial of information service by WWW (World Wide Web) is also explained. Finally, we propose the way to apply the Internet to museums.
