• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 我々は、語学教育の改革は辞書の改革なくして有り得ないという立場から、幅広い層の英単語学習者のための、ハイパー辞書データベースの研究を推進している。本稿では、英単語の整理・分類法として、既存の辞書や単語集とはまったく違った、印欧語根を用いる方法を提案する。印欧語根は、比較言語学において構成された仮想の言語である。さらに従来の紙の媒体では実現できないデータベースの利便により、英単語の丸暗記的学習からの脱却を目指す。ここでは具体的な学習例と印欧語根の判明率から、そのようなハイパー辞書が英単語学習のために有用であることを示す。また、試作した簡単なハイパー辞書インターフェースについて触れる。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: We are taking up the position that there's no reformation of linguistic education without the reformation of dictionaries. We propel the research of database of hyper dictionary for learning English words. We propose the new way which uses the concept of Indo-European roots for classifying English words. That is a virtual language and was organized by comparative linguistics. The database commodities that paper media are unable to realize will extricate learners from cramming. We discuss the helpfulness of the hyper dictionary with a typical example and proof rate of the roots. Also plain application of the dictionary is exampled.
