| 内容記述 | ＮＨＫ「新日曜美術館」が17世紀オランダの画家フェルメ?ル作「絵画芸術」の来日を記念して、そのモチ?フを再現する企画をした。このモチ?フに用いられている透視図法（遠近法）や神秘的な雰囲気を作り出している要因、部屋や人物等のサイズの推定に関しての調査が我々に依頼された。我々は絵画を科学的に分析することで、透視図法や当時の資料を元にしたモチ?フのサイズを推定し、またこの絵画の神秘的な雰囲気を心理的に分析した。この番組は2004年６月６日に放送されている。「絵画芸術」は、フェルメ?ル作品の中でも代表作の一つに挙げられている。また、フェルメ?ルは幾何学的透視図法やカメラオブスキャナなどの当時としては最新の絵画技法を用いた画家であり、構図に関しても緻密な計算の上に決定されている。「絵画芸術」を透視図法の観点から分析し、消失点・遠隔点を割り出し、17世紀に壁に使われていたタイル（一辺12.８ｃｍ）から床のタイルの長さを27.1ｃｍと推定し、これらに基づきモチ?フに用いられている部屋や人物の大きさ、位置関係を割り出した。さらに、他のフェルメ?ル絵画や当時使われていた机、椅子等の資料を元に、「絵画芸術」で描かれている部屋の再現を行った。 | |||||||

| 内容記述 | Cerebrating the arrival of “The Art of Painting” painted by Vermeer, Japanese TV broadcasting station NHK attenmpted to reproduce its motif in their TV program named "Shin-Nitiyo-Bijutsukan". In order to make an accurate guess about the size of the people and the interior, NHK requested us to do a research. This program was on the air on June 6th of 2004. “The Art of Painting” is one of the masterpieces of the work of Vermeer. Vermeer has left splendid pictures representing the shading of light as well as Rembrandt by using such scientific techniques as the camera of a scanner, perspective, and so on. | |||||||
