• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 各種学会によって開催される全国大会や国際会議の運営業務は開催当事国における教育機関(多くは大学の研究室)で実施されることが多い。この作業は責任が重く、また非常に手間のかかる作業である。この手間を削減するために、近年Internet を利用して、論文投稿、査読を実現するシステムが存在する。我々はIPSJ が共催するER2001 国際会議でプログラム委員業務を行った。この時 Stephen W. Liddle 氏が作成されたBYU PaperReview System を利用した。本論文ではこの経験に基づいてプログラム委員会業務の流れを文書化し、これを自動化する際に問題となる査読論文を査読者に割り振る作業の効果的な解決法を提案する。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: Scientific societies hold international conferences, most of which are managed by educational institutions, such as universities or colleges. Since the management is generally tedious and time-consuming, systems have been created to support paper submission, review, and so on via the Internet. For the ”ER2001 International Conference”, co-sponsored with IPSJ, the program committee used the ”BYU Paper Review System” originally created by Dr. Stephen W. Liddle. This paper explains the workflow of the program committee, and a solution for the problem of assigning papers to reviewers.
