• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: コンピュータで自動的に人間の顔の表情などを認識する研究が行われている．その中でも人間の会話を認識する研究が盛んに行われている．会話を理解するには，人間の顔画像から唇領域を抽出する必要がある．本研究では，唇領域を抽出する手段として，唇の特徴の一つである赤色であるといった色情報に注目した．現在さまざまな表色系があるが，明度情報と色度情報に分離して考える事ができるYIQ表色系を選択し，唇領域の抽出を行った．他の表色系と比較してYIQ表色系の利点を示した．さらに，顔の向きが異なった画像や，違う人物の画像で抽出実験を行い，適格に唇領域の抽出が行えることを確認した．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: We propose the method of a lip region extraction in the face image with YIQ model which represents luminance and chrominance. The red color information which is the one of the lip's characteristics is respected in this paper. As a result,experiments of a lip region extraction from the different images of the same person and different person's face image show that our method has advantages as compare to using other model.
