• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 移動ロボットにとって、環境をセンシングし、それによって環境の様子と自分の状態を知ることは不可欠な機能である。とくに、画像を用いるロボットの視覚は、得られる情報量が大きいため、最も期待される環境センシング法である。本稿では、移動ロボットの視覚に求められる機能を述べ、従来の研究、とくに、筆者らのグループで行ってきた方式を紹介する。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: Sensing the environment is indispensable for a mobile robot to know the circumstances and its own states. Robot vision based on camera images is one of the most promising methods since it provides a large amount of information. This paper considers the functions expected to vision systems of mobile robots, and presents some of the approaches which have been developed by the authors.
