• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: ３次元の物体認識のためには，３次元のパターン間の類似性を定義する必要がある．複数方向からカメラで撮影された３次元のパターンを対象として，３次元パターン同士をマッチングする方法について考察する．マッチングの方式として，３次元パターンをカメラで撮影した画像の集合を部分空間で近似し，部分空間の間の正準角を利用したマッチングを提案する．また，その効果を実験によって確認する．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: 3-dimensional pattern recognition requires the definition of a similarity measure between 3-dimensional patterns. We discuss how to match 3-dimensional patterns, which are represented by a set of images taken from multiple directions and approximately represented by subspaces. The proposed method is to calculate the canonical angles, in particular the third smallest angle between two subspaces. We demonstrate the viability of the proposed method by performing a pilot study of face recognition.
